Who writes the blog
The blog is run by Nafiul Hasan, the founder of Bookmend. It covers the things Bookmend users run into: Chrome bookmarks, tabs, link rot, web archiving and the browser tools around them.
How AI is used
We use AI to research and draft posts, because it lets a small team cover the many specific questions people ask about Chrome and bookmarks. Every post is then reviewed and edited by Nafiul Hasan before it is published.
Sources and data
When a post cites a statistic or a study, it links to the original research. We only describe something as our own data, survey or testing when we actually collected or ran it. Summaries of other people's research are presented as summaries.
Our own product
Bookmend is the product we make, so we have an interest in it. When it appears in a list of tools it carries an "Our product" label, and comparisons with other tools describe what each one actually does, including where another tool is the better fit. No company pays to be included or ranked, and posts don't use affiliate links.
Corrections
Chrome and the tools we write about change often. If something in a post is wrong or out of date, email hello@bookmend.appand we'll fix it. Posts that are materially revised show an "Updated" date.
